We are very proud that our Studio Manager, Cheryl, has been accepted on the Dance Nova Scotia board of directors. This will help her keep in touch with the community and to represent Fusion Dance & Wellness and all of our activities to the larger community.
Brenton has also agreed to serve on Dance Nova Scotia’s Dance for Health committee. We believe that our participation within this organization will increase the profile of our studio and our dancers within the larger community. Especially now when dealing with COVID-19 has made it so difficult to continue dancing, co-operating with other dance organizations will make us all stronger.
We are delighted that our camp counsellors are some of our teen dance students. They have been working hard to develop activities for youth who want to explore the performing arts. We are now looking for campers. If you know anyone who has a child ages 7 to 12 looking for summer activities, please send them our way. Current guidelines allow the children to participate without masks as long as we have no more than 10, including the counsellor, in each group. Each week will wrap up with a performance highlighting what the campers have worked on.
The camps will run July 24 to 28 and July 31 to August 4.
If you have any children in your family or neighbourhood who might be interested in participating, please have their parents send an email requesting further information including fees and availability to info@fusiondancewellness.ca
Fusion Dance & Wellness is where you can learn, rehearse, create, collaborate and grow. We cater for all ages and all levels of dance. We are experienced – so you don’t have to be.
We pride ourselves on providing a fun and friendly environment. We want to see each dancer use dance as a way to follow their dreams, whether dancing for fun or dancing on the world stage.
